Our cohort study included women abdominal using fascia between June 2014 December 2019 at a single academic medical center. Patients were recruited for follow up visit including completing the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PFDI) Organ Prolapse Quantification (POPQ) exam. Diced rib cartilage is an acceptable option in severe nasal deformities. We present our preliminary experience in KAMC in nasal septoplasties using the autologous diced costal cartilage. This is a retrospective study of the 22 cases who needed the autologous diced costal cartilage in our centre in 4 years. All our patients needed autologous diced rib cartilages. Twelve were wrapped with tempora...

OBJECTIVE To compare the functional outcomes and complication rates following laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy (LS) with those occurring in robot-assisted laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy (RALSCP) in obese women. PATIENTS AND METHODS A comparative retrospective multicentre study was made, involving 39 obese women (BMI≥30 kg/m2) who underwent LS, and 17 obese women who underwent RASCLP. The operative pa...
متن کاملAutologous fascia lata for heart valve replacement.
To obviate the drawbacks of prosthetic devices and in search of a better substitute for diseased heart valves a technique of using autologous fascia lata grafts attached to a support frame was developed. The technique of preparing mounted fascia lata grafts is briefly outlined and their surgical implantation into the mitral, tricuspid, and aortic areas is described. Since April 1969, 83 fascial...
متن کاملAutologous fascia lata cardiac valve replacement.
Prosthetic cardiac valve replacement has been carried out at Brugmann University Hospital since 1962. In a series of 370 valvular replacements, operative and hospital deaths have attained a low rate (5%). The overall survival of 70% is comparable to that of most published series. Late thromboembolic complications, in spite of longterm anticoagulant therapy, remain the principal disadvantage of ...
